This hotel is the worst stay I have ever experience!!! The room I stayed in had bugs that bit me. The second room I was moved to bathtub was clogged with hair and other gooey content. I needed to wash clothes and woke up early to get quarters and the front desk staff is no where to be found but the phone line near the front desk is connected for about 3 hours. The front desk clerk phone conversation is more important than their job...Sad! I asked to speak to the owner of the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson b/c I wanted to provide feedback of his hotel. The manager at the front desk ran to the back of the hotel to get the owner rather than call him to the front. As they were approaching the lobby the owner stated he's not scared of no one and where she at? At that point I determined that there's no point in trying to reason with someone as unreasonable him. I just dismissed myself at that point...
We had a great stay. We biked the trails all day Saturday and were a muddy mess when we got to the hotel. They had a hose for us to use which was so great to be able to clean off our bikes and our bodies. We then hit the hot tub, which was perfect after a long cold bike ride. They also let us use their breakfast room in the evening so our large group could gather and have pizza and play games. We had an awesome stay.
Came here for my birthday weekend with my daughter and family. Beth was professional and very attentive to our needs. I wish more hotels had front desk like Beth. The rooms are clean and inviting and quiet. The hot breakfast was great! We will be back again!
I'm a construction worker and also an elite member of club Carlson. I have been staying with country inn and suites the better part of thirteen years. I have not had a single incedent with damage to a room. I happen to have some left over mud on my boots and it got on the carpet. Very little. After vacuuming it looked fine. The manager Bethany wrote a note and picked the room apart. Now they are trying to charge my company for furniture. Two nickes on a cabinet. Of I can't prove we didn't do it but we didn't. Dirty tactics.. attention all construction personal avoid this location..... PS checkeing out a week early!
It was a girl's weekend after the recent passing of our mother/grandmother. Country Inn with just 61 rooms turned out to be exactly what we needed from the pool and hot tub after a 91° at the Cran fest, to sitting in the rocky chairs at night in our PJ's. No bugs! Sharing memories. The staff started to feel like family. Our room was small especially after adding a roll away last minute to 2 queen beds. But we had many options as previously mentioned to get out of the room. Great weekend.
